The new year has begun. Many found 2016 to be a difficult year, and now is the time to start off 2017 with positive experiences. If you have a RV, and you enjoy travel and the outdoors, there is no reason why your first trip of the year can’t be in its hopeful beginning. Start 2017 with a RV and camping trip.

The beginning of the year can be stressful.

You may be thinking, “How can I travel now? This is one of the busiest times of the year.” That may be true, but it doesn’t mean that you aren’t entitled to some time away. Starting the year with successful time at work is great for your career. Starting the year with some time away from the grind is great for your health and happiness. Find a weekend, set goals to finish your work prior to it, and set off in your RV to a camping spot for some well-earned relaxation.

You may not even have to leave work completely.

A work-life balance is important for most people. Consider taking your work with you. Plenty of people work from home, or while traveling; in fact, telecommuting is fast becoming a very popular work option, thanks to our reliance on the internet; wi-fi is everywhere. This makes it easier to schedule your work hours so that you can find time for the stress relief you need. If you’re concerned about having time for a RV and camping trip, ask your employer if he or she will consider letting you work remotely for a time. You may just find you can negotiate your way into a great start to the year.

It’s all part of using time wisely.

At work, you do your best to schedule your time well. You do what must be done and in order to get it done on time, you make certain things priorities. You do the same thing in life. It’s well-known that taking time away for the sake of your health—both mental and physical—is considered by many to be an important priority. It is also common knowledge that spending some time outdoors is a great way to accomplish this.

You don’t have to stay in the RV, or do nothing to enjoy the time away.

A relaxing vacation, with or without a RV, doesn’t have to mean sitting around doing nothing. If sitting around and enjoying the fresh air suits you, then that is what you should do. If you prefer more action on your trip, then there are plenty of options. If you’re already a RV owner, you may know that there are many locations that offer far more than a place to park. You can find a place that allows you to park your RV, rent attractive and comfortable lodging, rent boats, go fishing, and much more. If physical activity off of your RV and beyond the camping grounds is what you love, then what better way is there to start the year?

At Bethy Creek, we have all you could possibly need for your RV and camping trip. The new year has begun; start it well.
